At that time, we visited one of my uncle’s houses in our city. It takes only a half hours to go there. I have a few cousins there. I love spending time with my cousins. They are amazing. Then we all went to our grandmother, who was living with another uncle.

We got a family reunion. That was absolutely amazing for us. Uncle Aunties were really happy to see us all. We played and eat together in the afternoon. In the Christmas day, we wear a different beautiful outfit and enjoyed a lot. End of the celebration, we spend time with our grandparents. They love us a lot. Whenever we meet them, they shared so many interesting stories with us. This time, they did share. I enjoyed a lot.  

Winter Morning: Winter mornings are very special there. We woke up very early in the morning. And then we went for a morning walk. There are so many beautiful gardens; it’s amazing to walk there. My mom and Aunties were busy cooking several types of food in the morning. Food is one of the most interesting things in the vacation.

We all know winter is the best for fresh vegetables and so many fruits. The place was near the countryside, and that’s why that was easy for us to collect fresh vegetables. Besides these, they used to make so many types of Pithas and we drink date juice every morning.  

Conclusion: After spending that amazing time, I came back to the house last week. I tried my best to maintain my study routine in that period, and it was succeeded to do that.

Introduction: Winter is my favorite season due to a few special reasons. This season comes with cold and freshness for me. I feel really comfortable at that time. I love ghost stories especially. Grandma knows lots of scary ghost stories. We sat together at night and hear her stories. I never feel bored spending time with my grandparents and my cousins. They are really awesome.  

Family Time: Spending time with family is important. But everyone is busy nowadays, that’s why we need to find vacations and other holidays to meet and greet. In last winter vacation, I got an opportunity to meet with my uncles, aunties, and cousins. I didn’t want to waste that chance.

I told my father and he was agreed with me. We finally decided to spend the vacation in uncle house. The whole big family came into one place and had so much fun together. I loved the whole time that we spend together. Family is a really important part of our life.  

Conclusion: Overall, that was an amazing vacation for me. I won’t forget that vacation ever in my life. I wish to spend that type of time with my cousins and the whole family. I love winter and winter vacation a lot. At that time, I can forget everything about my studies and all.

Introduction: I love winter vacation a lot. There are so many reasons behind this. The biggest reason is I find so much relief and refreshment from my boring and busy life. My father booked a resort for us. We reached there with our own car and entered into the resort. The resort was amazing. The natural view, that I love most. It was near a big tea estate. A few minutes walking distances there is a beautiful hilly river.

The place was like a dream to me. I was really exciting. There were some amazing little family events. We stayed there for two days. We had a bar-b-q party on the final night together. The resort manages everything for us. Grandma came out with us; we drive a little away from the resort.

We did a little picnic on our own. That was amazing. We took a camera, food with us. We walked into the small river and get wet. The river was very tiny, but the water was really cold and clean. Hilly rivers are full of rocks, that I love most. The rocks are really beautiful and there were lots of colorful rocks.  

Meeting Cousins: Meeting with my cousins was the most important part of the vacation. We all are students and need to stay the busy whole year. We don’t get enough opportunity to meet each other. This winter vacation let us be everyone together. I think my cousins are my best friends. We are lots of cousins and pretty much at the same age. We love spending time together. On this vacation, when we were staying in a resort we went for a picnic our own. That was an impressive experience for me. We all were excited.  

Conclusion: That vacation was really amazing that I won’t forget ever in my life. Especially the family trip was the most interesting part of the vacation. Our entire family never enjoyed that much together ever. I wish to spend every vacation like this.

How I Spent Winter Holidays

All schoolchildren look forward to having long holidays and I’m no exception. My favourite holidays are in summer and winter. Perhaps, winter holidays are even better, because it’s also the time for Christmas and New Year celebrations. Everyone is in cheerful mood, houses and stores in the streets are richly decorated and you get to receive lots of presents.

My winter holidays have started almost a week before the New Year. I didn’t have to attend school and I could sleep long hours. On the New Year Eve my parents decided we should visit our relatives in Voronezh, so we went there. It took approximately five hours by train.

Тем не менее, то, что мне нравится в зимних каникулах больше всего, так это не только встречи с друзьями, но и зимние виды спорта. Мой любимый вид спорта – катание на лыжах. How I Spent Winter Holidays

All schoolchildren look forward to having long holidays and I’m no exception. My favourite holidays are in summer and winter. Perhaps, winter holidays are even better, because it’s also the time for Christmas and New Year celebrations. Everyone is in cheerful mood, houses and stores in the streets are richly decorated and you get to receive lots of presents.

My winter holidays have started almost a week before the New Year. I didn’t have to attend school and I could sleep long hours. On the New Year Eve my parents decided we should visit our relatives in Voronezh, so we went there. It took approximately five hours by train.

My aunt and uncle were happy to see us. They were getting ready for New Year dinner and my mum decided to help them. Meanwhile, me and my dad went shopping for presents and some decorations. Aunt Alice’s house has already been nicely decorated and had two Christmas tree. One was inside the house and one outside. Nevertheless, my dad decided to buy some more colourful toys, postcards and tinsel. When we returned, dinner was ready and everybody was waiting for us. It was a wonderful day. I got to play with my cousins and their friends.

We spent three more days in Voronezh. After such a joyful trip it seemed to be boring at home. However, I wanted to spend my holidays usefully. Luckily, this winter was snowy and I could go skiing with some friends. Our teacher of literature has set special homework before the holidays, so I had to find some time to read books. Soon it was time to get back to school.

Все школьники с нетерпением ждут длительных каникул, и я не исключение. Мои любимые каникулы зимние и летние. Возможно, зимние каникулы даже лучше, потому что это также время рождественских и новогодних праздников. Все вокруг в приподнятом настроении, дома и магазины на улицах роскошно украшены, и есть возможность получить много подарков.

Мои зимние каникулы начались почти за неделю до Нового года. Мне не нужно было посещать школу, и я мог спать по многу часов. В канун Нового года мои родители решили, что мы должны посетить наших родственников в Воронеже, поэтому мы отправились туда. Дорога на поезде заняла около пяти часов.

Тетя с дядей были рады видеть нас. Они готовили новогодний ужин, а моя мама решила помочь им. Между тем, мы с папой пошли за подарками и украшениями. Дом тети Алисы был уже красиво украшен двумя елками. Одна из них была в доме, а другая снаружи. Тем не менее, папа решил купить еще немного красочных игрушек, открыток и всякой мишуры. Когда мы вернулись, обед был готов и все нас ждали. Это был замечательный день. Мне удалось поиграть с моими двоюродными братьями, сестрами и их друзьями.

Мы провели еще три дня в Воронеже. После такой веселой поездки дома казалось скучно. Тем не менее, я хотел провести свои каникулы с пользой. К счастью, эта зима выдалась снежной, и я смог покататься на лыжах с друзьями. Наша учительница по литературе перед праздниками задала нам особое задание, поэтому я должен был выделить время на чтение книг. Вскоре настало время возвращаться в школу.

How I spent winter holidays №2

My winter vacation passed wonderfully. This year heavy snow covered the ground, so there was no time to get bored. Together with friends we drove in a sleigh, made snowmen, played snowballs and just had fun. In the evening I watched TV, talked on the phone with friends and occasionally played on the computer.

The second week my family took me to a winter resort. I don’t ski very well, so it was hard in the beginning to learn how to ski down mountain slopes. But the next day, I learned to keep balance and fell to the ground only a few times. At a ski resort we spent 4 days. During this period I managed to make friends and girlfriends, with whom now I keep in touch and correspond through the internet. We hope to see one another again at the same place next year.

By the end of winter break my spirits fell. Suddenly it came in on me that I had not done some homework. But still there were a couple of days left, and I had time to do the tasks before the beginning of classes. How quickly vacations end! And how long a school year lasts!

Как я провел зимние каникулы №2

Мои зимние каникулы прошли превосходно. В этом году высыпало много снега, поэтому скучать было некогда. Вместе с друзьями мы катались на санках, лепили снеговиков, играли в снежки и просто развлекались. По вечерам я смотрел телевизор, общался с друзьями по телефону и периодически играл в компьютер.

На второй неделе моя семья взяла меня с собой на зимний курорт. Я не очень хорошо езжу на лыжах, поэтому мне было сложно вначале научиться спускаться на лыжах по склону гор. Но уже на следующий день я научился держать баланс и упал на землю только несколько раз. На лыжном курорте мы пробыли 4 дня. За это время я успел завести друзей и подруг, с которыми сейчас поддерживаю связь и переписываюсь по интернету. Мы надеемся снова встретиться в том же месте в следующем году.

К концу зимних каникул мое настроение резко упало. Я вспомнил, что я еще не выполнил некоторые домашние задания. Но все же у меня оставалось в запасе пару дней, и я успел сделать задания да начала занятий. Как же быстро заканчиваются каникулы! И как долго тянется учебный год!

How I spent winter holidays №3

Every year schoolchildren have their winter holidays. They usually last for 2 weeks: from the New Year’s Day till the 12th of January. I am sure that all of us look forward to this time because it’s a great chance not to get up early and to do what we want. As for me I always sleep till 9 a.m. during my winter holidays. Then I turn on my TV and lie in my bed for another hour.

Winter holidays are even more exciting because we celebrate New Year and Christmas. Our mood is joyful. The whole atmosphere is full of magic. People exchange presents, decorate their homes, cook delicious food, visit each other and have parties.

If the weather is cold I prefer to stay at home or visit my friends. They can also come to my place. We play computer games, surf the Internet or watch TV. The programmes on TV are really interesting during our holidays, so we watch plenty of cool films. In warm weather we go to the cinema or a café, play ice-hockey or go skiing to the park. Hockey and skiing are my hobbies. We can even play snowballs and make funny snowmen.

In the evening my mother often asks me to help her about the house. My duty is washing up, watering plants and taking the rubbish out. As I don’t have to get up early during my holidays my parents allow me to watch TV and read books till midnight.

I enjoy my winter holidays. It’s a nice time to relax and take a short rest from my studies. It’s a pity that winter holidays always pass so quickly.

Как я провел зимние каникулы №3

Каждый год у школьников бывают зимние каникулы. Они обычно продолжаются в течение 2 недель: с Нового года и до 12 января. Я уверен, что мы все с нетерпением ждем этого времени, потому что это классная возможность не вставать рано и заниматься тем, чем хочется. Что касается меня, то я всегда сплю до 9 утра в зимние каникулы. А потом включаю телевизор и валяюсь в кровати еще час.

Зимние каникулы становятся еще более веселыми, потому что мы празднуем Новый год и Рождество. Наше настроение радостное. Вся атмосфера полна волшебства. Люди обмениваются подарками, украшают свои дома, готовят вкусную еду, ходят друг к другу в гости и устраивают вечеринки.

В холодную погоду я предпочитаю оставаться дома или навещать друзей. Они тоже приходят ко мне в гости. Мы играем на компьютере, сидим в интернете или смотрим ТВ. Во время наших каникул телепрограммы очень интересные, поэтому мы смотрим много классных фильмов. В теплую погоду мы ходим в кино или в кафе, играем в хоккей на льду или катаемся на лыжах в парке. Хоккей и лыжи – мои увлечения. Мы можем даже поиграть в снежки и слепить смешных снеговиков.

Вечером мама часто просит меня помочь ей по дому. В мои обязанности входит мытье посуды, поливание цветов и вынос мусора. Так как мне не нужно вставать в каникулы рано, родители разрешают смотреть ТВ и читать книги до полуночи.

Мне нравятся зимние каникулы. Это прекрасное время для отдыха и короткого перерыва от учебы. Жаль, что зимние каникулы всегда пролетают так быстро.

My winter holidays (in English)

I spent my previous winter holidays in Saint-Petersburg. This year I did not go anywhere. Our winter holidays began on the 25th of December. On that day I went to a cafe with friends.

Before holidays we prepared various contests and games in class. We had a lot of fun. Then we had a party. We were playing and dancing.

New Year and Christmas are my favourite holidays.

On the 7th of January our family celebrates Christmas. I like this holiday very much too.

This period of the winter holidays is not so rich in different shows and performances as usual. This year we chose to watch films and play board games at home. I think that holiday is the best possibility to spend time with your family.

But the time during the holidays flies so quickly. Of course, I read some books and watched some films on holidays.

This year the weather was really New Year’s one. It was rather snowy and one day we set off to the park to ski. We had a nice day there.

I liked my winter holidays very much.

В этом году погода была действительно новогодней. Было довольно снежно, и однажды мы отправились в парк кататься на лыжах. Мы хорошо провели тот день.
