In my opinion, everyone can have a lot of unfailing friends. In the first place, I strongly believe that the truth of friendship depends mostly on you and on your attitude to others. If you are reliable and sincere, you can expect others to be the same for you. In addition to it, I can tell from my own experience that it is possible to have more than one true friend.
However, there are some people who think that you can have only one faithful friend. They are convinced that the more connections you have the less faithfulness you get. As far as I am concerned, I cannot agree with these people because friendship is not what you get but it is what you create. Having many true friends is an achievable goal. If you want to make friends with many persons, you need to make an effort to progress on this way.
In conclusion I would like to emphasize the fact that friendship is a multi-aspect thing, and it is rather difficult to discuss. Anyway, I still believe that the idea of having many true friends is absolutely realistic.

Friendship is one of the greatest phenomena of people’s life. The true friend is always ready to help and support us in any situation. Is it possible to have many true friends?
In my opinion, everyone can have a lot of unfailing friends. In the first place, I strongly believe that the truth of friendship depends mostly on you and on your attitude to others. If you are reliable and sincere, you can expect others to be the same for you. In addition to it, I can tell from my own experience that it is possible to have more than one true friend. The question of friendship has been discussed for quite a long time. Some people say that one can have only one real friend, whereas others do not agree. They believe that a person can have a lot of true fiends.
In my opinion a person can have a lot of real friends. First of all, true friend is not a special number, it is more a principle, an ability to sacrifice himself for the sake of a friend. For example, a true friend is always ready to help when their friend is in times of trouble. There is a saying, “a friend in need is a friend indeed”. Secondly, a true friend can tell a person the truth no matter how hard it might sound.
At the same time there are people who say that there can be only one real friend. A person cannot be open to many people and share with them all his or her thoughts and ideas, being fully sincere with them.
I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. There are not a prescribed number of friends for a person. This number depends on a person, his or her character, personal preferences and many other individual things.
In conclusion, I would like to say there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight a person can have only one real friend, but in actual fact there can be many. Thus, I strongly believe people can have not only one true friend.

Выбор противоположного мнения
Здесь возможны два противоположных мнения: 1) a person can have many true friends; 2) a person can have several true friends.
Если в сочинении будет защищаться утверждение из вопроса, то выбор варианта противоположного мнения не имеет большого значения. Напротив, если школьник не согласен с высказыванием, то рекомендуется подумать, какое из предложенных противоположных мнений проще защитить.
Важно!
Во-первых, рекомендуем во введении дать определение фразы “true friend” , объяснить, значение данной фразы. В этом случае сочинение будет более целостным и более понятным.
Во-вторых, также во введении следует уточнить, о чем конкретно будет эссе – об одном настоящем друге на протяжении всей жизни? об одном настоящем друге у школьника?

True friends are helpful and reliable, sincere and honest. How many true friends can individuals have during their life? Some people believe that a person can have only one close friend, others think that a person can have several true friends.
I belong to the second group. The main reason is that people make new friends at school, at work and in clubs. As a result, they have several close friends. Whilst at school, friends encourage and support each other, but they often do not see each other outside school hours. When they attend clubs, children make new close friends with those they share the same interests. In addition, children develop true friendships with their neighbors. Finally,when children grow older and become adults they acquire new close friends at university and at work.
On the other hand, there are people who do not share this opinion. They argue that people do not feel safe when many friends learn their secrets and they can trust only one person. I do not agree with that. From my point of view, real friends are trustworthy and reliable and they always keep their friends’ secrets.
To conclude, I totally agree with those who think that people can have several real friends. In the childhood they make close friends at school, in clubs and in the neighborhood. When they become adults, they also develop true friendships with their fellow students and colleagues.

— строить высказывания в соответствии с предложенным планом;
— начинать введение с общего представления темы и предложения, отображающего ее проблемный характер;
— во введении необходимо перефразировать тему/проблему, используя синонимичные выражения;
— в основной части сначала высказать свое мнение и аргументировать его, затем представить точки зрения других людей и дать аргументацию, почему с ними не согласны;
— приводя контраргументы, отстаивая свою точку зрения, желательно использовать перифраз, синонимию;
— в заключительном абзаце еще раз указать на проблемный характер темы, показать, что вы способны видеть и другие точки зрения, тем не менее ваша кажется вам более убедительной;
— делить текст на абзацы, которые отражают содержательную и логическую структуру текста;
— сделать введение и заключение приблизительно одинаковыми по объему;
— разбить основную часть как минимум на два абзаца, приблизительно одинаковых по размеру;

Nowadays some people believe that only one person can be your closest friend. Others argue it is possible to have two, three or even more true friends.
I strongly support the idea that you can have not only one best friend. Firstly, sometimes it is really hard to choose only one true friend, and other ones become your best friends, too. To me, it is great to have a group of close friends. Secondly, the best friend is often a person who has the same interests as you have. Sharing a hobby makes people closer and when you have several hobbies and share them with different people, you can make a close friendship with two, three or more people.
However, some people have another opinion. They consider there can be only one person who you may be true friends with. It is thought that telling secrets and having confidential relations are possible only in a very small group of people which includes only you and your one true friend.
I cannot agree with the above idea completely. Even though it is more reliable to tell secrets to only one person, we can have many close friends if we want. If you are sure that your friends are unfailing, you can tell them all your secrets without a fear of being ratted.
To sum up, I want to say that there is nothing strange in having close relations with two, three or more people. It is natural to have several close friends.

Some people think
that you can have only one true friend.
Nowadays, friendship is a very controversial question among people of all ages. Some of them claim that everybody can have only one close friend. Others suppose it is possible to possess a lot of true friends.
Personally, I consider people can have more than one best friend. Firstly, everybody is involved in several hobbies. Therefore, it is a perfect way to have many close friends who share with you different activities. Moreover, the same interests make friendship with two or three persons stronger. Secondly, many true friends give you the opportunity to find a right way in difficult situation. You can ask them their personal attitude to the problem and get different advices. As a result, several opinions help you to find a solution.

There are lots of thoughts about friends and friendship. In my opinion, a friend can be one. Other close people can be family members or partners in business.
There is a rare situation where you can find a person who shares most of your values and viewpoints of life. Everyone has a different character, health, and problems. And they can support different things, and people often change these things.
Yet, people prefer to be in a community. People are scared to be alone. Most people need someone who shows them the right way in life and work, they need a leader.
Anyway, persons can become friends if they prefer the same things and share the same values and ideas. If people live in the same environment and if they have to solve the same problems they can be friends until the situation will be changed.
So, become friends and support friendship is easy in childhood but it becomes more difficult when we have grown up. If you have at least one friend, try to keep the friendship because it is a very good thing.
