The question of protection of environment has been discussed for a very long time. Some people say that it is responsibility of the government, whereas others do not agree. They believe that it is every person’s responsibility.
In my opinion it is mainly government’s job to protect nature. First of all, protection of the environment requires substantial amount of money and labor force to manage the protection properly. For example, in order to build a garbage utilization plant one should spend a lot of money and government has to find it. Secondly, government can control pollution violations by setting some special laws that restrict companies to produce harmful products. For instance, if a plant makes something that poisons nature, it will be forced to pay a big fine.
At the same time there are people who claim that if everyone contributes something in environment protection, the nature will benefit from it. Even stopping to litter a person will help to improve bad ecological situation.
I do not agree with the statement mentioned above. It is good to stop littering but it is not going to save the nature. The biggest enemies of the environment are waste from chemical plants and factories, air pollution caused by transport. Only government has enough power to restrict them.
In conclusion, I would like to say there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight it is people’s responsibilities to save the nature, but in actual fact, it is government’s duty. Thus, I strongly believe that it is the government’s responsibility to protect the environment.

The issue of saving the environment is especially popular nowadays. Some people claim that the state must take care of saving the nature, whereas others believe that is not.
Personally, I am convinced that protection of the environment is not the duty of government. First and foremost, the main purpose of the countries’ authorities is to care about social spheres of life such as politics, economics and so on. The government must fight poverty and hunger, but not the greenhouse effect. Moreover, mining operations are impossible without pollution of the nature. These operations are extremely important for international trade and the economy of the country.
However, others are sure that the state is obliged to take charge of the cleanliness environment. They say that nature has an impact on people’s health, so bad ecological situation can be harmful for the country’s citizens.
Nevertheless, I do not agree with the statement given above, as in my judge the government had better care about people’s health by the improvement of medicine, than by stopping dumping waste in the rivers.
All the things considered, there are two point of view on the issue of the role of government in protecting the environment. I believe that countries’ authorities must not take care about the nature, because it is not the main problem they have to solve.
Some people belivev individual are more imporant in taking care of environment, others thinks governments should be major responsible to it. discuss and give you opinion.

It is true that governments have great obligation to govern the environment. For one thing, the major pollutions are normally created by big enterprise and factories. It is only the governments have the power or ability to restrict or force them to control pollutions in a reasonable measurement. For another, governments have a plenty of funding, resources and ability to cope with serious environmental incidents. For instance, 2 years ago, Japan experience a significant nuclear accident, it is only the government has techniques and powers to stop and prevent public away from the nuclear radiation.
However, the individuals’ impact on the environments should not be neglected, because our behaviors are seriously impact on environments. For example, if all the people in Australia save 1 liter drinking water a day, then we can save almost 20 million liters water everyday to help 7 million people who live in water deficit environmental areas, as per person only need 3 liters water for live. In addition to this, if we are often taking public transport to go to work instead of driving private car, it not only improves the traffic conditions in cities, but also reduces the carbon dioxide emission and saving energy for world.
In conclusion, although it is the government duty to improve or protect our living environment, I believe everyone on the earth does enjoy the equal role. Therefore, the individual and the government are both play vital role in environmental protection.

The environmental issues have long been regarded around the world
This is pretty weak as a hook. Long been regarded for what? Your hook should be more meaningful and catchy. If you do not get a good idea for a hook as you begin to write your essay,start with the background (introduce the issue to the reader) It’s alright and I don’t think you’d lose lots of marks for not having a hook. Also, if you finish your essay earlier, you can always go back and insert one 😀

Today we hear a lot of news concerning serious ecological problems. Experts talk about the high air pollution, threats of global warming and ozone depletion. But is it the government’s duty to care about the environment or should every individual think about it?
In my opinion, it is the responsibility of authorities to monitor the environment. These people run the country and they should be in charge of the ecological situation as well. Also, the government has human and financial resources to take the problem under control. So it should encourage other citizens to take good care of the environment.
Others, however, believe that it is not the government’s responsibility to care about ecology as it has a lot of other important issues to solve. They also say that it is every person’s task to think of the ecological state of their living place.
I do not completely agree with this position because I think that one individual cannot improve the ecological situation in the whole country. So it is the job of politicians to encourage citizens to care about the environment. That way we can really improve the situation.
In conclusion, I believe that the authorities should be responsible for solving ecological issues. But nonetheless, it is impossible without help from other people living in the country.

Nowadays, increasing a number of people concern about environment protection. However, whether the responsibility of protecting our environment is supposed to be taken by governments has become a controversial issue. I am going to discuss this topic and present my viewpoint.
First of all, governments should educate resident’s awareness of the environmental pollution issues and make every effort to keep our city clean and safe. For example, people should sort rubbish for recycling daily and when they go shopping use green bags instead of plastic bags because this will reduce plastic waste and protect our land and trees. Also, government should encourage people reducing their dependence on private cars and using public transports and riding bicycles more often. By doing so, this will not only decrease the emission of carbon dioxide from cars and will but also reduce traffic jams and accidents on the road and decrease air pollution.
Secondly, governments should take action to inspect pollution control measures in factories such as the discharge of waste water or gas is legally or not. If factories do not follow legal requirement, governments should give them penalty and impose severe fine immediately. Moreover, governments should encourage enterprises to create energy saving equipment such as solar energy and hydraulic power system.

As for me, I agree with this statement and I strongly believe that the government should protect the outward things. Firstly, it is government’s duty to lead environmental campaigns as there is a special item in a country’s budget for it and people also have a right to a favorable environment. Secondly, the natural condition of a country can generally have a great influence on the environmental health in the world. Another opportunity available to individuals is recycling. By stopping plastic waste from entering and contaminating waterways people are able to conserve drinkable water and its inhabitants.
In conclusion, due to the large amount of work involved, mobilising all the possible forces is a more sensible approach. It is, therefore, likely that joint efforts of both the governments and their citizens would result in the most effective way of preserving the environment.
