38.1 Nowadays computer games are very popular among young people. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out why computer games are popular among teenagers in Zetland. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the table.
According to the data, there is quite a wide range of reasons why younger generation is fond of video games. It is clear that looking for entertainment is at the top of the table, 46% of the respondents named it. Making new friends is also quite popular answer with 21%, whereas improving mental skills, developing hand-eye coordination and seeking relaxation appear to be the least popular reasons to play computer games.
It is worth mentioning that entertainment is two times more important for the adolescents than their self-development, such as improving mental skills and hand-eye coordination. Obviously, teenagers play computer games in their free time and they just want to have fun.
One problem that is usually associated with playing video games is a lot of violence they consume. So that young people may become aggressive gaming computer. One solution to this problem is to limit the access to these games for teenagers by law.
In conclusion, I think that computer games play an important role in teenagers’ life. All the more, there are different kinds of educational games. (228 words)
38.2 Recent studies show that teenagers think about taking a part-time job more often nowadays. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out why young people take a part-time job in Zetland. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the diagram.
According to the data, there is quite a wide range of reasons what can motivate adolescents to spend their free time on working. It is clear that getting pocket money is the most popular answer, 40% of the respondents named it. Also, nearly a quarter of the teenagers (24%) start working in order to get work experience. At the same time, younger generation is not very interested in testing themselves.
It is worth mentioning that the teenagers think about acquiring new skills as well as learning more about different jobs almost three times less often than about pocket money they could get. Obviously, the adolescents in general do not consider their part-time job to become a way to start a career.
One problem can arise with a part-time job is that teenagers usually perform poorly at school. The main reason is that the adolescents cannot manage their time well, as a result they have not enough time to do their homework. One solution to this problem is to organize special centres where professionals help teenage workers with time management to be sure they can be successful in all this.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that a part-time job plays an important role in teenagers’ life. All the more, younger generation could get a great experience doing it. (271 words)

Nowadays computer games are really important in adolescents life. While doing a project on why computer games are popular among teenagers in Zetland, I have found a table showing it. I am going to comment on the data and express my opinion.
As can be seen in the table, most respondents think that looking for entertainment is the best reason of popularity computer games (46%). It is also clear that the least favored reason is seeking relaxation (just 9%).
Looking more closely at the table, we can note that making new friends, which was named by 21% of the surveyed is 8% more popular than improving mental skills, which is popular with 13% of the respondents. Recent studies show that social networks are in demand nowadays, especially among teenagers. To learn more about it, I have found some information on what teenagers in Zetland use social networks for. As a part of my project, I have analyzed some data and come across some interesting findings.
According to the data presented in the diagram, youngsters have a wide range opinion when it comes to the usage of social networks. The majority of the respondents enjoy listening to music (52%) whereas writing a blog is the least popular choice (4%). Finding interesting information is also quite popular as well as watching films, making up 11% and 10 of the respondents respectively.
It is noticeable that there is a substantial difference between the most popular and the least popular choice of usage of social networks: predictably listening to music is at 13 times more popular than writing a blog. The difference between figure for chatting with friends and finding interesting information is also considerable. It is less than 15% which is surprising because both of these activities are favoured by adolescents.
The data seem to indicate that teenagers in Zetland like using social network as almost all the people in the world. The problem is that today’s adolescents have become addicted to different Internet sites. As a result, teenagers become antisocial and almost not to go out. The best solution is to minimize the usage of the Internet by setting up a special time- tracking system.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that the role of social networks is hard to overestimate now. They have a leadership role in our daily lives and people cannot imagine their existence without them.
