The twenty-first century is the age of high technology and all people want to live in comfort. Gadget, automobile, and more. But people didn’t stop and came up with a smart home. And the question of living in an ordinary house or in a smart one is asked by those who have decided that they need it.

I would like to live in such a house because a smart house is the best helper for Housewives. With such a home, there is less housework and no worries about leaving something on. After all, such a house can be controlled by a phone or computer at any distance. You can even set a timer, such as a bath so that when you come home from work, you have a hot water tap in the tub.

But there are disadvantages. To install such a house, you need to spend a lot of money. And also, if there is any failure in the system, it will lead to terrible consequences. But if the house does everything for you, and when the lights go out, all the systems will shut down. And also, if everything is done at home, then you just get lazy and when you need to go back to normal life will be difficult.

These problems can be resolved. As mentioned, the twenty-first century is the age of high technology and people were thinking about failures in the system. They can be eliminated with the same phone or computer, because with one phone you can control the entire house, and with such a house you can not worry about security. Although it takes a lot of money to buy such a house, after you live in such a house for a while, this price will pay for itself.

From this, we can conclude that living in a smart home is much more convenient than living in a normal one. At first glance, it may seem that life is not convenient. But everyone has their own opinion on this matter and everyone decides for himself whether he needs it or not. 

It’s no secret that a person’s life is getting easier every day, thanks to various gadgets, home appliances and so on. In the modern world, you can even control your home with a smartphone, which is in almost every pocket, although these technologies seemed fantastic a few decades ago. The automated system, which the «smart» house has become, frees a person from household chores. Thus, the time saved can be spent on what is really pleasant and useful. But you need to figure out what a similar house is, as well as what are the advantages and disadvantages. «Smart Home» is a special building management system that solves the problems of security, communication and entertainment.

This system consists of elements such as switches, timers, sensors, various sensors that help measure physical parameters. Auxiliary devices are also present: power supplies, modules and interfaces. Such a system can be installed not only in large country houses, but also in an ordinary apartment. The advantage is that you can control the kettle, microwave, air conditioner, TV and other household appliances using a smartphone or tablet from anywhere. That is, you can start a “smart alarm clock”, and at the signal of this alarm clock, the blinds or curtains will open, and the machine will make coffee. Also, climate control will be a nice bonus, because you can set and maintain a favorable temperature in different rooms. In a smart home, control is exercised over the alarm, gas, water, as well as video surveillance and fire protection systems, which, of course, can protect the premises from leaks and unforeseen situations. System sensors and timers that respond to the presence of a person contribute to saving electricity in the house. When a person leaves home, various appliances, underfloor heating, the temperature control system go into sleep mode. Now you can get rid of unnecessary worries without thinking if the iron or other appliance is turned off. But there are also negative aspects in the «smart home». For example, this equipment will be expensive, in addition to this, the breakdown of devices entails expensive repairs. Some may not like the huge number of different sensors and wires. Again, not every home can provide an uninterruptible power supply for the continuous operation of equipment. A smart home is undoubtedly very comfortable for modern life. Do not forget that the control of electronic devices is still carried out by a person and directly depends on the human factor, and this will be so for a long time. Therefore, you need to think about whether a smart home is a good or bad solution to everyday household problems. Perhaps soon a smart home will become something common in everyday life, and machines will solve different tasks for a person.
