In our modern, high-tech society and with 24-hour access to the Internet, it’s no surprise that children are using homework-help websites more and more. However, there are arguments for and against using the Internet as a homework tool. There is no doubt that using the Internet as a homework tool has its advantages. First of all, it is a quick way to find information. This means that students have more free time for other activities. Secondly, the Internet provides a variety of sources. For example, students can read lots of information and form their own opinions by comparing and contrasting ideas.		Неудивительно, что использование интернета в качестве инструмента для выполнения домашнего задания имеет свои преимущества. Прежде всего, это быстрый способ найти информацию. However, there are drawbacks to using the Internet as a homework tool. One drawback is that students don’t use their writing skills. For example, they just copy the information which is not always well-written. Another disadvantage is that some websites not only contain poorly written material, but also inaccurate information. As a result, some students may include a lot of facts in their work which are incorrect.		Однако, имеются и недостатки в использовании интернета в качестве инструмента для выполнения домашнего задания. Один недостаток заключается в том, что студенты не пользуются своими собственными навыками письма. Например, они просто копируют информацию, которая не всегда хорошая написана. All in all, I think that the use of the Internet as a homework tool is a welcome and useful development. Unfortunately, though, it is not free from risks and we must bear those risks in mind if we want students to get the most from the Internet.		В общем и целом, я думаю, что использование интернета в качестве инструмента для выполнения домашнего задания – это желательный и полезный инструмент. Nowadays education is available for everyone. People can get education in a number of ways. They can go to schools and universities, attend different courses, conferences, seminars and workshop. We live in the time of high technologies and the Internet is a significant part of the modern life. So it is not necessary to be personally present at university, for example, to get an education.

В настоящее время образование доступно для всех. Люди могут получить образование несколькими способами. Они могут посещать школы и университеты, различные курсы, конференции, семинары и практикумы. It means that online studying become very popular. It has many advantages though there are some disadvantages. First of all, it is a very convenient way to get an education. If you work till the night or just have no time to attend courses or classes, you can choose online studying. Often you have an opportunity to choose time and day for it. Besides, it can vary from week to week. Sometimes online studying is combined with full-time education. One more advantage is that you can choose any course you like. For example, some courses are held only in big cities so it is possible for people from small cities to get an education they want.

Though there are some disadvantages, online studying is popular and convenient way to get an education.

Studying online is getting more and more popular nowadays. A lot of people believe it is more fun than studying at school. Others, however, have another opinion. In this essay, I will try to look upon this issue.

From my point of view, it is more interesting to study at school. Firstly, at school students communicate to each other. They play games during the break and sometimes have fun during the lessons. Those things are important for them and not possible when you study online. Secondly, they enjoy showing the classmates their new clothes, toys and gadgets. When you are online it does not matter what you are wearing. No one cares.

Nevertheless, a lot of people think otherwise. According to them, studying online has more fun.

There are a lot of platforms, which make the process of learning more fun. Interactive exercises, educational cartoons and other good things.

I cannot totally agree with that point of view. Studying online is tiring. It becomes no more fun when students are tired. Besides, students grow out of all that interactive things very fast.

In conclusion, I would like to say that studying at school is more interesting for students than studying online. They need live communication most of all to enjoy the studying process.

Учеба онлайн становится все более и более популярной в настоящее время. Многие считают, что это веселее, чем учеба в школе. Другие, однако, придерживаются другого мнения. В этом эссе я постараюсь рассмотреть этот вопрос.

С моей точки зрения, учиться в школе интереснее. Во-первых, в школе учащиеся общаются друг с другом. Они играют в игры во время перемен и иногда веселятся во время уроков. Для них это важно и невозможно, когда ты учишься онлайн. Во-вторых, им нравится показывать одноклассникам свою новую одежду, игрушки и гаджеты. Когда вы онлайн, не имеет значения, что на вас надето. Никого это не волнует.

Тем не менее, многие люди думают иначе. По их словам, обучение онлайн приносит больше удовольствия. Есть много платформ, которые делают процесс обучения более увлекательным. Интерактивные упражнения, обучающие мультфильмы и другие полезные вещи.

Я не могу полностью согласиться с этой точкой зрения. Изучение онлайн утомительно. Когда ученики устают, это уже не приносит удовольствия. Кроме того, ученики очень быстро вырастают из всех этих интерактивных вещей.

В заключение хочу сказать, что обучение в школе для студентов интереснее, чем обучение онлайн. Больше всего им нужно живое общение, чтобы получать удовольствие от процесса обучения.

A pupil cannot study effectively without a computer

School program becomes more complicated every year. There are many rules, exceptions and formulae that pupils have to learn and remember. Also we have to read many books and poems, make different projects and presentations, many homework and so on. I like to buy different useful things, books and notebooks, but the best thing that helps us at school is computer.

Computers came to our life few years ago and today every single child knows how to use it. At school computers are very useful. Of course we don’t use them for every single lesson. But I use my computer at home while I am doing my homework. My point of view is that pupils can not study effectively without a computer. They help us to do some things faster, to find all information we need, to print all reports and presentations. I would say that using of a computer helps us to save our time. Instead of drawing a picture for my project I can find something in internet. Presentations also look much more visually while I am using a computer.

Of course not everyone will be agree with me. My parents say that computers make us stupid. We write and read less and that’s why we don’t know many things and can make mistakes. What is more some pupils can start to play games and do other things instead of studying. It’s strange to me, because today pupils can not imagine our life without computers.

In general I would say that school program is not easy. But there are some things that help us a lot. Computer is one of them. I am happy that everyone has an opportunity to use it. The only thing is that we decide how to use our computer: to study and enrich our knowledge or to play computer games. I made my choice and I think that my results at school are really good.

Школьная программа становится все сложнее с каждым годом. Тут есть много правил, исключений и формул, которые ученики должны изучить и запомнить. А ещё мы должны читать много книг и заучивать на память стихотворения, составлять различные проекты и презентации, выполнять домашние задания и так далее. Мне нравится покупать различные полезные вещи, книги и тетради. Но лучшим приобретением, которое помогает мне в учебе, является компьютер.

Компьютеры пришли в нашу жизнь несколько лет назад и сегодня каждый ученик знает, как им пользоваться. В школе компьютеры очень полезны. Конечно, мы не пользуемся компьютерами на каждом уроке. Но я постоянно использую компьютер дома, когда готовлю домашние задания. Моя точка зрения заключается в том, что ученик не может учиться эффективно без компьютера. Эти машины помогают нам выполнять задания быстрее, находить необходимую информацию, распечатать доклады и презентации. Я бы сказал, что использование компьютера помогает нам сберечь наше время. Вместо того, чтобы рисовать картинку для проекта, я просто ищу ее в интернете. Презентации тоже выглядят гораздо нагляднее, когда использую компьютер.

Конечно, не каждый согласится со мной. Мои родители говорят, что компьютеры делают нас глупыми. Мы пишем и читаем меньше, а поэтому, мы знаем меньше, но допускаем ошибок больше. Более того, некоторые ученики могут начать играть в компьютерные игры или заниматься другими делами вместо учебы. Звучит странно, ведь сегодня ученики не могут представить свою жизнь без компьютеров.

Вообще я бы сказал, что школьная программа далеко не легкая. И порой нам нужны помощники в обучении. Одним из таких помощников является компьютер. Я счастлив, что сегодня у каждого ученика есть возможность пользоваться им. Другое же дело это то, как мы используем компьютер: для учебы и обогащения своих знаний или чтобы играть в компьютерные игры. Я сделал свой выбор и думаю, что результаты в школе тому подтверждение.

Online safety is a key concern for all parents. Reading up on how to help children stay safe online is a must. It is also a good idea to learn about the safety features available from internet service providers. Parents should explain to children that stranger danger is as real online as it is in the outside world.
